Despite calling myself a photographer for a while now, I still feel my stomach knot when I set foot on to a shoot. Always asking, "Is the weather going to behave? I wonder if the lights going to break? Am I going to reach expectations?".
On a grey old day at the end of April, I travelled back to my old stomping ground of Penarth, to meet Kelly & Rob for their pre wedding shoot.
As soon as we started wandering through all of the old lanes it was more than apparent these two lead with their hearts and favour love and laughter over anything else. I felt completely at home with them both, talking about how they got together in The Golden Lion (the pub right opposite my first house!) and attempting to keep up with their consistent wisecracks towards each other.
Despite my nerves before meeting people, I'm always reminded of how lucky I am to be able to hang out with awesome couples, celebrate their love and call it my job.
Only six more sleeps till these guys wed at Pencoed House Estate.
