Last week I woke up to a dreary sky outside. The clouds were out in force and the light was flat and uninspiring. As I drove my wife Abi to work, I was distracted from everything other than what the sky was doing. The wind was picking up and there was no sign of improvement.
Trying to stay focused on the day ahead, I returned home. I packed, unpacked and repacked my bag in my usual obsessive manner, constantly trying to remind my self that, yes, I have packed everything, everything is in there... Back up batteries, back up cards, there's no need to pull everything out again. Cut to me pulling everything out again.
All worries were put at ease when Michelle and Andrew rocked up at my front door. They had arrived with timeless class and blue skies. From there we headed out to the coast for their pre wedding shoot. These two are an absolute pleasure be around. They are both incredibly hardworking yet humble people. They subconsciously shape their environments into welcoming havens filled with laughter and the sense of belonging.
The love these two have for one another is unmistakeable. The small gestures, the little looks and constant piss taking is testament to a life well lived as one.
